Maternity Images, Birth, and 6 Weeks Postpartum.

My gorgeous son is now 6 weeks old. I'm so in love with my new munchkin. He is so strong and is already trying to get around. We are constantly asking him "Where are you going?".  I guess lots of protein during pregnancy makes for a really strong baby. lol My other three children are so intrigued  with him and do their best to help.  It seems like every five seconds I'm saying "Give him some space.", they just can't get close enough. =)

It almost didn't happen, but  my husband and I were able to squeeze in a maternity shoot at the last minute. I was hot and miserable right before the shoot and that equates to me being swollen from head to toe, which made me even more miserable because I was concerned about how the photos would come out (I was afraid of looking like a pregnant walrus).

Once we arrived at the park I was able to quickly adjust my feelings. I did something I never thought I would do in public. I bared my pregnant belly.

A few days later at 9.4 lbs, Xavier Elijah was born.

Here is my 6 week postpartum comparison.  I had planned to still do a light workout each day, but mostly found myself sleeping like a baby and doing my motherly duties in between naps. So these results are based 100% on nutrition. I now have the OK to workout hard and have made a schedule to do so. Let's see what happens.....
